Creative Movers Choreographic Initiative (CMCI)

Choreographers are invited to apply for the Creative Movers Choreographic Initiative (CMCI), sponsored by the Joffrey Concert Group and the Joffrey Ballet School. Two choreographers from NYC and the surrounding area will be selected to create world premiere works for the 14-member Joffrey Concert Group, to be premiered at their February 2027 NY season. The choreographers selected will receive a $2,500 stipend, up to 40 hours of rehearsal time over a 4-week creative process, and access to the professional dancers of the Joffrey Concert Group. The residency schedule will take place during the months of October and November. Choreographers of all ages may apply. Deadline is July 17th.
