In Motion Workshop - Althea Dance Company / FUSA NYC 2026

Althea Dance Company will host its annual workshop in New York City in fall 2026 as part of the FUSA Dance Festival. The workshop will offer a 3-day intensive program designed for pre-professional and professional dancers, with a daily schedule from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
Led by Artistic Director Théa Bautista and company members, as well as guest companies performing for the FUSA Dance Festival, the workshop includes contemporary technique classes, repertory, improvisation, and partnering. Each session is designed to deepen dancers' physicality, presence, and creative expression.
Each day is divided into two parts:
The first part focuses on contemporary technique.
The second part explores creative tools such as partnering, repertory, improvisation, and composition.
Guest companies and choreographers invited to teach during the workshop will be announced in September.
