Miro Magloire's New Chamber Ballet
Miro Magoire's New Chamber Ballet returns to the Mark Morris Dance Center with "Pearl," a program of four short Magloire ballets set to compositions by contemporary composers. The Company welcomes three new dancers: Margaret Kingsbury, Edie Carke, and Arianna Hughlett, who join Amber Neff, Rachele Perla, and Kayla Schmitt. Live music, as always, performed by violinist Madeline Hocking and pianist Tina Deng. The program's world premiere will be a solo for Rachele Perla, set to a dazzling piano score by Cuban-born comoposer Ahmed Alom.
