Momentum: A Benefit Concert

Momentum is a multi-artist performance hosted by American Liberty Ballet Company and Academy. This event opens up opportunities to NJ and NYC based dancers and choreographers to showcase their work free of any charges.
Choreographic submissions are free and open to NJ and NYC based choreographers and American Liberty Ballet Company dancers and Academy students.
Performance dates will be June 18th & 19th at 7:00 pm at the ALB studio in Union City. You may apply to perform your choreography at one or both.
Choreographic guidelines:
There is no theme or genre required. Solos, Duos, small and large group pieces are acceptable. Choreographers may dance in their own pieces.
We require that pieces be no longer than 10 minutes long. Solos must be 5 minutes or less. Application deadline: May 23, 2026.
Expectations:
We expect that choreographers and their dancers will help to promote the event and sell tickets.
Choreographers can expect ALB to provide a tech rehearsal, basic lighting options, sound, and refreshments for the audience.
