Join Hivewild for our Weekend Workshop this October 24th at New York Center for Creativity and Dance!
The Weekend Workshop is a deep dive into contemporary play, technique classes, and Hivewild repertory, supplemented by a professional development workshop facilitated by Hivewild Artistic Director Katherine Maxwell and the Hivewild administrative team. Participants will receive footage of the repertory session to use in their reels.
The professional development offerings of the Weekend Workshop are specific offerings to support the working dancer. Hivewild artists and administrators will speak about freelance best practices for the working artist. Artists are invited to bring their resume, reel, and artist statement for real-time feedback, editing, and consultation with Hivewild’s hiring team.
All workshop material is designed for the professional dancer. Please note that Hivewild’s repertoire is highly athletic and requires a strong technical foundation to ensure dancer safety.
