Alison Cook Beatty Dance is proud to present the 7th annual Artists In Motion, a one-night-only performance at the Ailey Citigroup Theater on Saturday, November 1st, 2025 at 7:00 PM.

Founded in 2019 by Artistic Director Alison Cook-Beatty, Artists In Motion brings together choreographers and companies from New York City, across the country, and around the world. The platform offers a collaborative space for artists to share the stage, split production costs, and create an evening of diverse and inspiring contemporary dance.

This year’s lineup features:

Alexandria Nunweiler (NunweilerTanz, Boston, MA)

Alison Cook Beatty Dance (NYC) — premiering a new work

Britt Fishel and Artists (Philadelphia, PA)

Claire Wagner (NYC)

DanceKerr & Dancers / Michael Anthony Kerr (Toronto, Canada)

Erika Batdorf (Toronto, Canada)

Katie Binder (New York State)

Robyn Movsessian / Saving Grace Dance Ensemble (NH/MA)

“When I began Artists In Motion in 2019, my dream was to create a home for choreographers to share the stage, celebrate each other’s artistry, and inspire audiences with a rich variety of movement voices. Six years later, I’m honored to see it grow into a night where the dance community truly comes together.” — Alison Cook-Beatty, Founder & Artistic Director
