Curated by sarAika movement collective: Assigned at Birth
Come see four incredible emergent contemporary dance artists all in one program!
As curators, we are proud to present “Assigned at Birth”, an evening-length performance featuring works by Suzanne Ponomarenko, Rylan Joenk, Lo Poppy, and sarAika. Each piece offers a unique voice — exploring LGBTQIA+ identity, immigrant journeys, BIPOC experiences, and more.
Through this curated program, we invite audiences into deeply personal and thought-provoking reflections on identity — revealing the complex realities that shape who we are, both individually and collectively.
