BROOKLYN, NY (September 29, 2025) — Company XIV announces the launch of its inaugural "Royal Rush Line," offering $14 same-day tickets to Queen of Hearts during the show's final month. The program runs every Friday in October (3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st) at Théâtre XIV in Bushwick, culminating with a Halloween finale. The critically acclaimed production must close November 1st.
The Royal Rush Line forms each Friday in front of Théâtre XIV, allowing participants to purchase $14 same-day tickets (regularly $79+) on a first-come, first-served basis. Patrons are encouraged to arrive early and must secure their position in line by 7PM. Rush tickets will be sold at 7PM in order of arrival while supplies last.
Rush Line participants additionally have the chance to win nightly prizes. The best-dressed member of the Rush Line wins a Champagne Couch for Two, while the Line’s "Best Mug" (best makeup look) receives two complimentary tickets. Guest judges for the costume contest include Olivia Lux (RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 13, All Stars Season 10), Christopher Paul (Project Runway Season 10), LEXXE (pop starlet, songwriter, original Alice), Coleen Darnell (The Vintage Egyptologist), and Austin McCormick (Artistic Director, Company XIV).
"Young creative people are an integral part of the Company XIV experience," said McCormick, "we're piloting the Royal Rush Line to help ensure they don't miss out on a show just because they can't afford it. Everyone should be able to see Queen of Hearts before it closes on Halloween."
The program specifically invites Brooklyn's diverse creative community, from drag queens and club kids to cosplay enthusiasts and black-tie fashionistas. McCormick noted the natural synergy: "Patrons are always turning looks at our shows. It's nice to have an excuse to shower them with praise."
Company XIV’s ravishing ode to Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll has garnered critical acclaim and a devoted following since its 2019 premiere at Théâtre XIV. Queen of Hearts is “AN ASSAULT ON THE SENSES IN THE MOST DELICIOUS, SEXY WAY,” raves Forbes, and “FEELS LIKE MOULIN ROUGE! FOR ACTUAL BOHEMIANS,” declares Time Out. Fall down a rabbit hole of sensual wonders and surreal delights in a decadent dreamworld laced with a mesmerizing blend of stunning circus, shining chanteuses, brilliant burlesque, classical dance, and lavish design. Follow blossoming Alice through the “CAPTIVATING WORLD OF EROTIC IMAGINATION” (BroadwayWorld) on a baroque burlesque journey so enrapturing she nearly loses her head. The production must take a final bow Halloween weekend to make way for the return of Nutcracker Rouge.
Rush tickets are available first-come, first-served to registered participants who must be physically present in line by 7PM. Each person may purchase up to two $14 tickets, subject to availability. Learn more at companyxiv.com/rush.
