Elizabeth Buchheister is a graduate from the Ailey School’s certificate program and is an independent choreographer and producer. Her choreography has been seen at showcases across NYC, Philadelphia, and Baltimore, and she has created works for Ballet Hartford and the new opera Gracchus. Elizabeth’s work is often inspired by philosophy, the human experience, and religious faith. She draws from her passion for modern dance techniques, musicality and her roots in an artistic family. This diverse program of Eight Dances is the culmination of her first five years as a choreographer and her first solo-choreographed performance.
