GALLIM, led by choreographer and artistic director Andrea Miller, returns to The Joyce Theater with the world premiere of MOTHER, an evening-length work exploring the origins, mechanisms, and fragile design of a universe coming into being. Through GALLIM’s signature mix of fearless physicality and emotional precision, nine dancers shape a living creation story that reflects on motherhood, endurance, and humanity itself. Featuring original music by Frédéric Despierre, costumes by Orly Anan, and lighting by Vincent Vigilante, MOTHER marks Miller’s first full-length world premiere with GALLIM since 2019.
Performances run November 5–9:
Wed 7:30pm (Opening Night Gala to follow), Thu 7:30pm (artist talk), Fri 7:30pm, Sat 2pm & 7:30pm, Sun 2pm.
