Miro Magloire's New Chamber Ballet
Miro Magloire's New Chamber Ballet opens its 2025-26 season with the World Premiere of "Twine", a 50-minute company work, and a solo for Rachele Perla. Ever a champion of new music, Magloire has set "Twine" to five pieces by composer Tonia Ko for piano and/or violin. Company member Perla will perform the solo "Love Song Solos," which has both choreography and music by Magloire, who began his career as a composer before falling in love with ballet. Dancers are Anabel Alpert, Megan Foley, Nicole McGinnis, Amber Neff, Perla, and Kayla Schmitt. Musicians: Doori Na, violin, and sophiko Simsive, piano.
