New York City Children’s Theater’s My First Nutcracker returns with a reimagined production that sparks children’s imagination and stirs the hearts of adults who cherish the full-length ballet. Running December 6-21 at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street), this 50 minute show for ages 3-8 features Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s music, breathtaking visuals, spoken storytelling, and immersive theatrical magic.
Join Clara-Marie’s holiday party, where she receives a Nutcracker from her godfather. When it transforms into a Prince, the adventure begins! Travel with them to the Land of the Sweets, filled with sparkling skies, dancing flowers, and a pesky Mouse King.
