A patient in an isolation room prepares for the comeback concert of their life, but unknowingly must come to terms with their true identity.
My Name is Adam is a 50 minute musical-monologue following a journey from delusion to reality celebrating the music of Barbra Streisand, Judy Garland and the musical theater genre.
Originally produced by DANCENOW (DN) at Joe’s Pub in 2013, this original piece is written and choreographed by Adam Barruch in collaboration with Mark Ruhala, musically directed and accompanied by Rachel Kaufman.
A new iteration will be perfrormed at Arts on Site on October 17th and 18th at 7pm.
