Join new Artistic Director Antonia Franceschi as NYTB launches its 48th season this fall at Danspace Project.
This mixed program of intimate classics and daring new commissions marks the first season under the artistic direction of Antonia Franceschi:

Uncaged+ by Antonia Franceschi
Uncaged+ was presented by New York Theatre Ballet in 2020 in an earlier version under the title Uncaged. An expanded version, Uncaged+ is choreographed by Franceschi in collaboration with Dara Adler, Christian Laverde Koeng, and Anna Blundy. Inspired by Lee Krasner’s Umber series – bold, gestural canvases painted after the death of her husband Jackson Pollock, Uncaged+ features live music composed by Tony Award nominated composer and director Claire van Kampen. Dance, live music, and visual arts work together to illuminate the profound impact of grief.
Friday evening includes a post performance reception to meet with Antonia, the dancers, and other dance and art enthusiasts for a celebration with drinks and food.
