The Giving Tree, with Re/venue

Company:
Drye/Marinaro Dance Company
Drye/Marinaro Dance Company is grateful for a returning collaboration with Re/venue and their Fall Performance series in a split bill with Artist Spencer Weidie! With a goal of building community and partnership with local NYC artists, we are excited to share our company's newest work - "The Giving Tree"
A dance-theater adaptation of Shel Silverstein's "The Giving Tree," we invite you to witness a creative journey told through the mediums of dance and American Sign Language (ASL). The work provides an opportunity to investigate expressive movement and visual storytelling by centering ASL into the production.
With immense gratitude to our deaf and hard-of-hearing community members who have been involved throughout our creative process, join us in celebrating diverse forms of expressio, expanding appreciation for deaf culture, and learning basic ASL.
