five two dance company at Gibney

Company:
five two dance company
five two dance company will celebrate its 5th Anniversary Season with two works at Gibney: Agnes Varis Performing Arts Center. The program will feature the NYC premiere of Weave, commissioned and choreographed by Robert Rubama, alongside the restaging and expansion of five two’s first-ever work, If ever, featuring a new original sound score by Andrei Eremin. The work explores human affinity across gender, sexuality, age, and the many forms that intimate relationships can take. If ever is a culmination of vignettes – depicting those based in reality and those imagined – to portray affection, intimacy, anger, struggle, pain, and loss.
